So I’ve found something that I really like and I want to tell you all about it. It’s a bunch of really cool bracelets from a company called Pura Vida. This isn’t going to become a blog where all I do is try to sell you stuff I promise, but when I see a truly special company that has something to offer this world, I don’t think it’s a bad idea to share it with you guys. So let me get this legal requirement out-of-the-way : This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links. Now let me tell you why I would affiliate myself with this company.
So let me tell you why I ordered my bracelet from them. It helps charity. And local artist in Costa Rica. And you have lots of choices for lots of charities to choose from. My favorite color is green so I chose one to help save sea turtles. I think its sold out! So let me tell you about another of my favorites.
This is the Shark Angels bracelet. Shark Angels is an organization that helps save sharks and the oceans. For every bracelet sold 10% of the price (they’re only $5!) goes to the charity. The blues in the bracelet represent the ocean. The grey represents the sharks, and the white represents the wings you receive when you pledge to become a shark angel.
All of the bracelets that represent charities have colors with specific meanings for that charity. There are animal awareness causes like the shark bracelet or the sea turtle bracelet that I ordered, but there are all sorts of charities represented. Health conditions, education and children, and military causes are all supported. And each bracelet is handmade in Costa Rica and supports local Artists.
They’re 100% waterproof too. They’re wax-coated and will adjust from 2 to 5 inches in diameter. And they start at $5. You can add fun charms and beads from there. Some of the charity bracelets like the Anti-Child Abuse Awareness bracelet that donates to Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, is a great example.
If it’s not enough to help out great charities with reasonably priced and stylish products, you also get points for every purchase. You can then redeem those points to purchase more products at a discounted price. For example, the Migraine Research Foundation bracelet will earn you 50 points toward your next purchase. You can save 10% off your order by clicking here for a discount.
So I hope you can forgive me for telling you about these bracelets. I think they’re a great way to give back. The whole company is really cool and I believe in them. So check them out and find a charty that you support. When you get to the pool this summer you’ll have a great bracelet that’s waterproof and has a story to tell. And they start at $5 (did I mentation that)!
